Grass stores its moisture and nutrients in the stalk and root, so keeping the stalk longer will help retain its colour if conditions become hot and dry.

Lawns are also highly nutrient-hungry during this season, so applying a high-quality fertiliser will provide the nourishment they need. Spring weeds are emerging rapidly, and at Prograss, we use products diluted to the minimum required rate, ensuring they are as environmentally friendly and safe as possible while effectively controlling weed growth.

It is also not too late, weather permitting, to aerate and scarify your lawn if needed. As we approach warmer and drier conditions, we recommend using a sprinkler to help maintain your lawn’s vibrant colour.
