Oct 2026: ProGrass and PowerPro Goes Green with Electric Vans

At ProGrass, looking after lawns and gardens has always gone hand in hand with caring for the environment, so we are delighted to be taking another step towards reducing our environmental impact.

We have recently replaced four of our diesel vans with new electric vehicles, helping to reduce emissions and improve air quality as our team travels between customers across the local area.

As an independent local business, we believe it is important to consider the impact our day-to-day operations have on the environment. Moving towards electric vehicles is another positive step in our ongoing commitment to becoming a cleaner, greener business.

Helping Local Lawns Bounce Back After a Difficult Summer

After one of the driest summers in recent years, many lawns across our local communities have been left brown, thin and patchy. For homeowners who take pride in their gardens, it can be disappointing to see months of hard work affected by the weather.

The good news is that many drought-affected lawns can recover with the right treatment. At ProGrass, we are currently helping local homeowners renovate their lawns using hollow tine aeration, scarification and overseeding. These treatments can improve soil conditions, remove dead thatch and moss, and introduce fresh grass seed to areas that have become thin or bare.

Autumn is traditionally one of the best times to repair and rejuvenate a lawn, with cooler temperatures and increased rainfall providing ideal conditions for new grass to establish.

As a local business, we are proud to be helping homeowners in our area restore their lawns and get them looking healthy again for next spring. Sometimes, what appears to be a lawn beyond saving simply needs the right professional care.

If your lawn has suffered this summer, ProGrass is offering a free, no-obligation lawn health check. We can assess the condition of your lawn and recommend the most appropriate treatment.
